About the Role

The S&P Global Mobility team is dedicated to driving innovation in the automotive industry, focusing on advanced forecast and scenario solutions that empower OEMs to optimize their planning processes. The role of Product Manager, OEM Forecasting Solutions, involves overseeing the development and management of OEM forecasting products, bridging the gap between forecast leaders, technical teams, and global customer stakeholders to meet market demands and deliver customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer pain points, competitive products, and emerging trends in OEM planning, forecasting, and workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on customer needs, market trends, and internal goals.
  • Engage with internal commercial, forecast, and management teams to gather requirements, validate concepts, and ensure product-market fit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Utilize analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.
  • Develop effective go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing sales support.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and iteration on product features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in automotive industry-related products.
  • Forecasting and/or enterprise software knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of OEM planning processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is preferred.
