Key Responsibilities

Manage product development from concept to launch by collaborating with internal experts and clients to produce insightful products and create holistic solutions, partnering with technical program managers and engineers to deliver on the product roadmap.
Own the launch and release plans, working with Account Managers, Business teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure proper prioritization of product features.
Strategically and tactically oversee product development for Blackhawk's proprietary Billing & Settlement platform for various BHN payment products including Prepaid - Open Loop, Closed Loop, Digital, and Incentive products.
Define and ship products iteratively, demonstrating a hands-on approach to execution.
Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and prioritization.
Communicate effectively with both executive-level audiences and technical teams, handling deep dives into functional and technical details.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of relevant technical product management experience.
Experience building products in Billing, Accounting, Payments (including International), and Reconciliation, with additional experience in Pricing/Rating, Contracts, Tax, and Currency being a plus.
Proven track record of managing end-to-end product launches.
Experience using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Expertise in writing technical and product specifications and use case flows.
Positive attitude and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with technical abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience in managing international payments and reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of pricing, rating, contracts, tax, and currency management.

Qualifications

Educational background in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical product management experience.
