About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager for Containers, Serverless, and Containers PMM at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for defining and driving the marketing and go-to-market strategy for industry-leading services within the AWS Container and Serverless portfolio. The role involves creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, building marketing programs to increase awareness, engagement, service adoption, and retention, and collaborating with various teams across AWS to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the positioning and messaging for enterprise customers seeking to deploy container-based applications.
  • Partner with service teams, worldwide services organization (WWSO), and product marketers to identify strategic customers and develop audience-specific messages, content, and tools such as eBooks, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, and sales plays.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing programs to increase engagement and service consideration.
  • Develop and execute breakthrough product marketing activities that effectively reach target audiences.
  • Identify compelling and strategic customers deploying production workloads to analyze ROI and qualitative proof points.
  • Partner with other marketing teams (web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, events) to incorporate AWS Serverless services into global marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate across AWS groups such as product, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to meet business objectives.
  • Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion.
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance across various channels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs.
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.
  • MBA with a focus in Marketing or Strategy.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience managing external partners and presenting ideas to organizational levels.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools such as Excel or Tableau.
