About the Role

Position Summary... As the Group Director of Product Marketing at Walmart Connect, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team, setting a clear vision and direction while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and executional excellence. In a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will drive team alignment, maintain morale, and empower your organization to navigate change while delivering measurable impact. Your leadership will ensure that Walmart Connect remains at the forefront of the digital advertising industry, effectively scaling our product marketing efforts to drive technology adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, Inspire, and Scale - Manage and mentor a large, high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and executional excellence.
  • Set Vision & Direction - Establish a clear strategic roadmap for product marketing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Drive GTM Strategy & Execution - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns that drive product adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Champion Product Growth - Partner with Product Management to identify, prioritize, and advocate for new and enhanced product opportunities based on market trends, customer insights, and performance data.
  • Ensure Commercial Success - Define and implement monetization strategies, including pricing, packaging, and value positioning, to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Craft Compelling Solution-based Narratives - Work cross-functionally with Product, Enterprise & Emerging Marketing, and Creative teams to develop messaging and assets that resonate with customers.
  • Enable Sales & Customer Success - Deliver best-in-class enablement materials, including product guides, competitive insights, case studies, and training resources to support adoption and engagement.
  • Optimize with Data - Leverage automation and analytics to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Measure & Optimize Performance - Define success metrics and assess the impact of product marketing initiatives, aligning efforts with business goals.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in AdTech.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Strong strategic and operational balance - ability to define high-level positioning and execute hands-on launches and GTM plans.
  • Expertise in competitive, evolving markets with a focus on driving adoption and revenue growth.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and maintain team engagement.
  • Data-driven approach with a strong ability to synthesize insights, measure effectiveness, and optimize strategies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams in a high-performance, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Related field and 6 years' experience in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Option 2: 9 years' experience in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
