About the Role

The Product Owner, MarTech leads strategic initiatives across the digital commerce ecosystem, improving customer experiences across B2C and B2B2C channels. Operating within a connected landscape of Magento, Sitecore, Microsoft Dynamics, and mobile platforms, this role ensures alignment and execution across teams. The role involves partnering with platform owners to drive cross-functional efforts, enhance conversion experiences, and connect strategy with execution to support business growth and digital sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional, enterprise-level digital initiatives with a focus on marketing and commerce outcomes.
  • Prioritize and drive greenfield projects that support new business opportunities, customer engagement, and digital sales enablement.
  • Partner with platform Product Owners (Magento, Sitecore) to ensure project delivery aligns with technical feasibility and strategic priorities.
  • Work across ecommerce, certification, marketing, sales, IT, and customer experience teams to ensure goals are aligned and dependencies managed.
  • Manage communication with executives and enable cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners to manage technology integrations and resolve challenges.
  • Optimize key ecommerce touchpoints across B2C and B2B2C funnels, from entry points to checkout and post-purchase flows.
  • Infuse digital product thinking with modern marketing and conversion strategies to drive business growth.
  • Advocate for the user across channels (web, mobile, CRM), ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging and experience.
  • Operate within a dynamic marketing and commerce ecosystem including Magento, Sitecore, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics, and mobile platforms.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Define roadmaps, feature sets, and user stories supporting large-scale initiatives.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, blockers, and priorities across teams.
  • Use Adobe Analytics and other tools to track KPIs and uncover insights.
  • Lead or support A/B testing, journey analysis, and marketing performance optimization.
  • Inform prioritization based on customer behavior, content performance, and marketing ROI.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on MarTech or commerce systems.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives connecting marketing and ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of B2C and B2B2C commerce models, user engagement, and conversion best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with or strong knowledge of Magento, Sitecore, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics, and mobile platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with vendor relationships.
  • Experience with Agile project delivery and coordination across multiple squads or teams.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Experience in backlog grooming, user story creation, and sprint planning.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering business value and user experiences.
  • Proficiency in visual documentation tools such as Miro and Visio.
  • Experience in defining and documenting API integrations, data inputs/outputs, and success metrics.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on customer needs.
