Product Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and success of products by bridging technical feasibility with business strategy.
• Gather and analyze customer and market insights, including participating in Voice of Customer (VoC) activities such as interviews, ride-alongs, focus groups, and user observations.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify threats and opportunities.
• Help organize and document outputs from innovation and ideation workshops to capture and prioritize new product ideas.
• Assist in drafting product requirement documents (PRDs), including features, user stories, and performance criteria.
• Collaborate with R D and Engineering to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support the maintenance of product backlogs, user requirements, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate with R D, Engineering, and Operations during product development to ensure alignment with specifications and timelines.
• Provide technical product knowledge and assist in creating sales tools, training materials, and FAQs for internal teams.
• Partner with Marketing to support product messaging, visuals, and go-to-market content.
• Assist in building business cases, collecting data for pricing models, and supporting product positioning.
• Help coordinate launch activities across departments including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support.
• Support creation of launch presentations, sales enablement content, and product demos.
• Gather and report customer feedback and product performance metrics post-launch to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a product or technical support role (transportation, medical instrument, mobility, or safety systems preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Comfortable navigating both technical discussions and business strategy conversations.
