About the Role

The SEO Program Manager will oversee organic search efforts in the Americas for a leading client, managing complex projects to drive business growth through SEO best practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across marketing, engineering, product management, and merchandising, with a focus on AI search and content strategies. Based in Cupertino, CA, this position requires a hands-on attitude and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the organic search strategy for products and services related to the Americas region, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Meet SEO revenue targets by implementing regionally relevant optimizations.
Shape AI-focused content strategies to align with evolving search models.
Pioneer AI readiness by adapting SEO approaches for AI search experiences.
Find AI optimization opportunities for pages globally and share insights with regional teams.
Report SEO performance to stakeholders and help them incorporate insights into their plans.
Regularly analyze search trends and provide insights and opportunities.
Work with regional marketing leads to promote seasonal and commercial campaigns in organic search results.
Collaborate with product management to understand SEO impacts of technical projects and provide requirements.
Advocate for the SEO program, demonstrating its impact on financial and brand goals.
Continuously test SEO hypotheses, analyze results, and apply learnings to improve site performance.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience with SEO, focusing on technical and content SEO.
Expert understanding of SEO analytics, including analyzing results and presenting insights to stakeholders.
Knowledge of the latest SEO best practices across major search engines.
Understanding of AI Search and the behavior of AI answer engines and agents.
Awareness of new user journeys with AI search.
Knowledge of content strategy and copy optimization techniques.
Excellent communication skills, especially in simplifying complex data into actionable insights.
Experience managing complex international, large-scale, and time-critical SEO projects is preferred.
Strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI search optimization and evolving search models.
Experience working with regional teams across multiple countries.

Qualifications

Formal experience or education in marketing, digital marketing, or related fields (implied).
