The Program Manager, Staff - Level 4, plays a key role in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs within the Aeronautics Company business unit.

Key Responsibilities

Build and lead cross-functional team/s to drive shared accountability, and mutual commitment to program delivery and objectives
Plan, direct, and monitor program activities and budget while managing cost, quality and schedule for design, development, and integration
Establish standards for performance and measuring progress towards goals
Ensure that timely and accurate milestone reviews and routine reports are conducted on assigned projects, using these tools to expose risks and issues and develop action plans to mitigate risks and resolve issues
Oversee functional areas during development to meet key deliverables
Drive problem items to closure by developing and executing detailed actions plans
Lead and/or guide escalations and communication on program status and issues to associates in technical, non-technical, and executive leadership functions
Ensure risks, schedule, and budget impacts created or mitigated by changes are identified and managed
Ensure that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, and all levels of management and documented appropriately
Develop and implement recovery plans for troubled programs

Requirements

Program / project management experience
Demonstrated change leadership experience
Proposal experience
Experience with time sensitive, high pressure work environments

Engineering / Technical or Business related degree
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) knowledge and experience
Program planning knowledge and experience
Active Secret Clearance
