Program Manager, Training - Marketing & Sales

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage training programs within the Marketing & Sales Training curriculum, including new hire onboarding for Sales and Marketing Executives.
• Partner with corporate and field leaders, policy owners, learning designers/vendors, and stakeholders to assess needs, develop, and execute learning programs.
• Deliver training through various methods such as instructor-led, computer-based, web-based, and mobile training across all brands and regions.
• Oversee basic office tasks at the centralized Training Center to ensure successful implementation of training programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage activities between multiple projects, ensuring detailed attention to program strategy, delegation, and implementation.
• Maintain the implementation program calendar and comprehensive records of participation, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
• Identify, build, and implement new training programs and initiatives to grow MVW's learning culture within Marketing & Sales.
• Collect and monitor feedback on development programs, leveraging insights to improve learning design, development, and delivery.
• Support and onboard new team members by ensuring they have necessary tools and resources.
• Assess development needs through data analysis, surveys, interviews, and focus groups, and determine modes of delivery for training programs.
• Collaborate with instructional design teams or vendors to create engaging training materials for various delivery methods.
• Ensure all training materials and resources are up-to-date and aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain responsibility for high-quality delivery of training programs, ensuring facilitators are well-prepared.
• Lead skill-building training projects, working with SMEs, learning designers, and vendors to deploy programs enterprise-wide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Hospitality Management, or related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience including 3+ years in Training & Development or Program Management.
• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing company-wide training programs.
• Experience with eLearning authoring software such as Captivate or Storyline preferred.
• Knowledge of learning management systems for training assignment and tracking.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and develop team communications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, Excel, TEAMS, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to travel 10-20% and support multiple time zones.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing company-wide training programs.
• Experience in Program development including support materials like job aids, participant materials, and instructor scripts.
• Knowledge of labor laws and governmental regulatory compliance.
• Experience in training program evaluation and feedback analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in related discipline.
