About the Role

Amazon Ads is looking for a Programmatic Solutions Consultant to support customers using our demand-side platform, Amazon DSP. The role involves managing the end-to-end experience of enterprise customers, developing their expertise in programmatic advertising, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance product offerings. The position requires experience in advertising technology and a customer-facing mindset to help clients meet and exceed their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the relationship with programmatic trading desk managers, engaging with multiple customer organizational levels to understand business objectives
  • Providing services such as onboarding, trade desk support plans, feature training, continuous product usage consultation, and industry best practices
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to identify improvement areas, root causes, and formulate enablement and adoption recommendations
  • Driving the evolution of Amazon DSP by assisting customers with product beta participation, capturing customer feedback, and collaborating closely with cross-functional Amazon teams (Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, and Specialists)
  • Defining and improving processes and tools for the Programmatic Solutions Consultant team to better serve customers
  • Onboarding new traders, delivering training on new product features, assisting with beta features, consulting on business strategy and campaign planning, providing campaign optimization recommendations, conducting deep dives into issues, troubleshooting, and advocating for customers in internal forums

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in programmatic advertising in a consultative role, providing hands-on customer service
  • Experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning
  • Technical and operational experience with multiple domain areas of programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, bidding engines, second-price vs first-price auctions, pixel and tag managers, cookies, viewability, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively present to and communicate with business-to-business (B2B) customers, including onboarding, training, and presenting plans to leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in e-commerce or online advertising
  • Experience in omni-channel marketing, search engine marketing or search engine optimization
  • Experience in digital analytics and/or DMP, CDP
  • Vertical specialization within programmatic advertising (e.g., entertainment, automotive)
