About the Role

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting excellence and building confidence across the programs supported by the Transformation Office. This role involves empowering teams with strategic project support, ensuring that every initiative aligns with the organization's goals and delivers measurable value. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the execution of projects, managing risks, and ensuring that the team meets its objectives. By providing guidance and support, the Project Coordinator helps the team achieve its goals and enhances customer satisfaction through efficient and effective project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements for the successful completion of smaller-scale projects or single workstreams within a larger program, in alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Champion and produce all typical project documentation using Transformation Office brand templates, including detailed project plans (with change management), RAID log, high-level timeline, project roster, and status reporting. Determine project methodology.
  • Identify and record risks and issues that might affect the project, assess their impact and probability, and partner with stakeholders and Project/Program Managers to develop responses to reduce impact on project objectives.
  • Gain commitment to ensure corrective actions are taken if costs, timescales, or resources deviate from agreed tolerances.
  • Manage the change control process for revisions to the project, ensuring full impact is understood by stakeholders, and act as communication liaison.
  • Plan and deliver readiness activities to prepare impacted audiences for change, managing risks to end-user impact.
  • Ensure benefits, both tangible and intangible, are identified and tracking is established to validate that investments deliver the expected business value and ROI.
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving, solutioning, and decision-making skills, understanding 'good enough.'
  • Show proactive ownership and accountability, acting with appropriate urgency.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • May assist in developing business cases for smaller-scale projects with significant impact to company goals.
