Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new product development programs, IME projects, and product changes, leading cross-functional teams from start to completion of project goals.
• Coordinate with functional leaders to assign team members, create a stable working environment, and train team members in project management tools and processes.
• Manage projects using the Win Strategy process, presenting status at stage gate reviews to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Utilize project management, product launch, APQP, and change management tools to effectively oversee projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers, project team members, and division management, serving as the primary contact for customer interface and status reporting.
• Develop and oversee project budgets, including product cost estimates and engineering cost estimates for strategic pricing.
• Ensure product validation, quality, and performance meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with IATF/ISO standards.
• Create and track the master schedule for the entire program, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
• Identify, communicate, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, minimizing impacts on scope, cost, schedule, and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or business.
• Proficiency with MS tools such as Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with new product launches and commercialization.
• Highly organized with the ability to follow projects through to completion.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, and development is a plus.
• PMI PMP or CAPM certification is desirable.
