PROJECT MANAGER

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete an interview process to demonstrate qualifications and suitability for the position.
• Manage and coordinate city projects in accordance with municipal laws, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
• Follow hiring and employment procedures as per city regulations and collective bargaining agreements.

Requirements

• Nine (9) years of work experience in project management or program coordination, OR
• Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree PLUS seven (7) years of relevant work experience, OR
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree PLUS five (5) years of relevant work experience, OR
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree or higher PLUS four (4) years of relevant work experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certifications are preferred.

Nice to Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of project management or program coordination experience, or equivalent educational qualifications with relevant work experience.
