Solutions Architect/Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead: Serve as the project manager and team leader throughout the implementation of client-related new business projects.
• Integrate: Combine the solution with business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, and best practices, acting as a bridge between project design and broader process and application delivery.
• Inquire: Initiate projects by solving specific problems, documenting technical and business requirements, and providing direction to clients and project teams.
• Analyze: Assess collected requirements, identify issues proactively, and promote new technical and non-technical solutions.
• Conceptualize: Create a conceptual vision of the solution, including diagrams, system drawings, and data integration functions.
• Communicate: Clearly communicate the solution, project status, design requirements, and value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordination: Gather detailed technical and business requirements, provide project direction, support sales and client engagement, and collaborate with developers on process design.
• Implementation Planning: Develop and execute solution strategies, shape service offerings, and educate marketing teams on solutions.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a visionary for solutions, survey industry processes, and translate system requirements into design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of Project Management experience, including implementing new processes, systems, and initiatives in an IT environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and change management abilities.
• Proven track record of successful project and change management initiatives in mid-cap companies ($200+ MM).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to operate with limited knowledge in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to prioritize projects according to customer needs.

Nice to Have

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering or related field.
