About the Role

The Project Manager at EXLservice.com, LLC in New York, NY will develop predictive models using statistical algorithms & machine learning techniques. Analyze and ensure data quality using statistical procedures. Create project plans, team structures, project approaches, milestones, and project deliverables. Identify tools to ingest and store client's data in the most optimized, cost-effective way. Set up data-labs and analytical workspaces leveraging Qubole and Snowflake. Work on real-time data capture, provide platforms support for real-time data analytics and business use-cases. Build data frameworks in HIVE, PySpark, Scala, and Amazon Redshift to facilitate data pipeline development for SDLC. Work on ETL tools and frameworks to automate and standardize development and testing processes. Process and clean data to ensure availability of variables/attributes for data-driven analysis. Create, transform, merge, and append data tables, and create necessary flags using SQL. Validate and ensure the performance and robustness of data models, including prediction accuracy and performance metrics. Optimize models through feature engineering, variable selection, and hyperparameter tuning. Analyze online behavior, interpret business needs, outline project scope, and share insights and recommendations with clients. Present results to leadership and stakeholders, create visualizations and dashboards, and enable data visualization using various chart types. Ensure code integration/deployment via measurement of key metrics linked to SDLC. Will work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States with telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Automate and standardize development and testing processes using ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Process, clean, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring all necessary variables are available.
  • Create, transform, and merge data tables; generate flags using SQL.
  • Validate and optimize data models for prediction accuracy and robustness.
  • Analyze online behavior, interpret business needs, and define project scope.
  • Share insights and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Present data insights to leadership and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards using charts, graphs, and data visualization tools.
  • Ensure code deployment and integration, linking to SDLC metrics.
  • Work at various worksites across the U.S., with telecommuting options.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in a related occupation.
  • Or Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of experience in a related field in lieu of a Master's degree and one (1) year of experience.
  • One (1) year of professional experience in data extraction and data visualization.
  • Experience with Python and R.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology.
  • Experience working with complex data structures and large datasets in a business setting.
  • Experience developing end-to-end solutions from requirement gathering to deployment and building key business metrics.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools including Excel or Tableau.
  • Experience with analytical tools including SAS and SQL.
  • Experience building, validating, and monitoring statistical models to meet client guidelines.
  • Experience delivering data analytics presentations to clients, senior managers, and executives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Qubole and Snowflake for data workspace setup.
  • Knowledge of data frameworks such as HIVE, PySpark, Scala, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Or Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience.
