Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to the Supervisor and/or Client Sponsor to address project issues, inefficiencies, and concerns
• Assist the Project Team in developing and scoping documents, schedules, deliverables, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with supply chain and project stakeholders to ensure materials and equipment are delivered per schedule
• Oversee the bid process, if needed, and hold contractors accountable for the system safety process
• Coordinate construction activities with the Client's project team
• Coordinate activities required for successful installation of assigned projects under supervision of Program Manager and/or Client Sponsor
• Work with Client Sponsor leadership to determine reporting requirements and provide reports at determined intervals
• Oversee and ensure adherence to the Client's internal project management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering (Engineering degrees must be from an ABET accredited university)
• Three to seven years of experience in project management with capital projects
• Three to seven years of experience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnel
• Three to seven years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment
• Ability to plan, set, and achieve goals
• Demonstrate organizational and planning skills, with an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail
• Superior level of personal character and integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Experience in project management and interfacing with engineering, procurement, and construction personnel
