About the Role

The position is for a Technology Consulting Senior Advisor (Project Task Lead) working with federal civilian agencies within GDIT. The role involves managing enterprise-wide projects, leading DevSecOps and Application Development teams, and ensuring project alignment with federal standards. The job offers opportunities to impact government services and work with cutting-edge technology in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Function as task order lead and DevSecOps/Application Development team leader
Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of development efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex
Support development teams by coordinating Scrum team activities, managing cloud financial operations, tracking risks and actions
Ensure alignment with SETRIS and federal reporting standards
Generate recommendations through technical briefings, reports, and other major documents for senior client personnel
Submit project status and other reports to the PMO and stakeholders
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas
Participate in special projects as required
Perform quality control and ensure quality assurance of project deliverables

Requirements

Master's degree in related technical or management discipline, or equivalent education, training, or work experience
Knowledge of system development methodology and project management
Experience with JIRA
Experience on teams working complex software development tasks leveraging agile project management
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with software development cycles
Secret Clearance to start
10+ years of experience in Program Management
Experience with Task Order Functions
Experience using MS Visio for updating diagrams
Experience working in Federal or State government environments
Ability to work independently and remotely

Nice to Have

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in related discipline
Secret Clearance
10+ years of related experience
Experience with MS Visio
Experience in federal or state government environments
