This position involves working closely with the Executive team, Development, and Marketing departments to develop and prepare marketing collateral, statements of qualification, and technical proposals to support new business development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and write proposal and qualification statement content
Develop and produce proposal and qualification statement graphics
Prepare proposal outlines and assignment matrices and lead proposal production process with multiple stakeholders
Produce and package both digital products and/or print products as required by project
Create and maintain resumes with successful project completion and new skills in team members
Create new project description sheets
Proofread and edit proposal content for internal departments
Research award opportunities and create annual plan
Research, write, edit and review award materials
Submit awards per annual deadlines
Write articles for trade publications
Assist with presentation materials
Collaborate with marketing and proposal team members on special projects

Requirements

10-15 years of experience in the architectural, engineering, and/or construction industries
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent
Self-directed and proactive in obtaining feedback and responses from others
Strong editing and writing skills, with thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, composition, and effective oral and interpersonal communication
Proven ability to produce high-quality responses under tight deadlines and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skilled in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Visio
Skilled in website editing, press releases, Constant Contact, and working with 3rd party vendors
Proficient in using graphics programs to capture, resize, and import images and screenshots into documents
Experienced in technical and content editing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to sit/stand at a desk and work on a computer for most of the day
Able to lift 10+ lbs. with occasional reaching and bending

Experience working with diverse personalities in construction and engineering environments

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent

Salary range of $70,000-$115,000
