About the Role

The Region Ocean Product Manager (ROP) is a commercial expert responsible for driving revenue from Add-on, Surcharges, and Value Added Services (VAS) in accordance with the global Surcharge Add-ons strategy, governance, and framework. The ROP sets tariffs for local charges and add-ons to maximize overall revenue, makes special deals on surcharges and add-ons, and ensures a standardized and relevant local portfolio of charges for customers. The role involves continuous optimization of surcharges and add-ons and participation in strategic projects and discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Owns target setting and managing performance of the Surcharge & Add-ons portfolio
Set market relevant tariffs to improve revenue for Surcharges and Add-ons
Builds strong product market knowledge and intelligence
Uses customer insights in the improvement and/or development of new products and revenue streams
Analyzes, follows up, and addresses performance, compliance, and application locally
Provides input and feedback on global product portfolio and idea generation process
Continuously looks for opportunities to improve local and global portfolio of surcharges and D&D charges
Owns exception management to the Surcharge & Add-on portfolio with the aim of reducing exceptions
Participates in strategic projects on an ad hoc basis
Participates in Area Leadership Meetings and strategic discussions requiring input from the Surcharge and Add-on team
Communicates changes and updates to the Surcharge & Addons portfolio to the Areas

Requirements
