About the Role

The Residential Marketing Specialist will lead marketing initiatives, manage community relationships, and support branding efforts within Southern Management Companies. The role involves collaborating with community teams, maintaining marketing assets, and ensuring accurate advertising and promotional activities to enhance community visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand relationships with ILS partners and bridge the gap between corporate and community teams.
  • Compile data for the Manager and Director to advise communities on marketing budgets and ILS packages.
  • Maintain records of community ad commitments and spends, and invoice communities for ad spends when necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits on community listings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Work with the Director and Marketing Technology Manager to create quarterly ad source ROI reports.
  • Compile and maintain community assets such as imagery and videos, and update digital and print touchpoints.
  • Develop, maintain, and update processes, policies, and procedures for the marketing team.
  • Support the Manager with brand content creation.
  • Support industry trend analysis and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Yardi/CRM and ILS platforms.
  • Three (3) years' work experience as a marketing coordinator or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital asset management and updating marketing touchpoints.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive market conditions.
  • Experience in developing and updating marketing processes and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Yardi/CRM and ILS platforms.
  • Three (3) years' experience as a marketing coordinator or higher.
