About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth team operations.
• Act as a servant leader, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and guiding teams toward self-management.
• Educate teams on SAFe principles and practices to optimize performance and align with scaled portfolios.
• Identify and address roadblocks to ensure teams remain productive and meet delivery goals.
• Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to align team activities with program increment goals and timelines.
• Drive retrospectives and improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and deliverables.
• Champion transparency, accountability, and adaptability within the team and across the organization.
• Track and report on key performance indicators such as velocity, quality, and delivery predictability.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to address and manage inter-team dependencies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SAFe principles, roles, ceremonies, and tools.
• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a complex, scaled environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Strong servant leadership skills to guide teams and foster an environment of trust and empowerment.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to organizational changes.
• Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a SAFe environment.
• Overall IT experience of 10-15 years.
• Experience with Scaled Agile implementations in large organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience with coaching teams in Agile transformations.
• Ability to manage multiple teams across various geographies.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous delivery pipelines.
