About the Role

Soo Hoo Customs Broker is an experienced, licensed customs broker and international freight forwarder established since 1974. We provide complete, end-to-end logistic solutions and professional services covering every stage of the shipping process - from international freight forwarding, U.S. customs clearance, to final delivery via trucking. Our company specializes in food products, automobiles, personal effects, general commodities, and regulatory compliance with FDA, USDA, DOT, and EPA. As experts in tariff and customs law, we assist our clients in clearing both imported and exported goods globally. We own our own warehouse for storing goods and preparing shipments for Amazon delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals
Promote and present Soo Hoo Customs Broker's full range of logistics services to prospective clients
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience with client satisfaction
Maintain and grow strong, long-term relationships with existing clients
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
Maintain an accurate record of leads and report all sales activities as well as client communications

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (industry experience not required)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple leads and accounts at different stages of the sales cycle
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn the logistics and customs brokerage process in detail
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in English
