About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guestroom, meeting, and ancillary revenues by handling corporate groups of 41 or more in the Western US and Canada.
• Conduct site inspections and solicit new business opportunities.
• Manage repeat business and develop strategic management of the assigned territory.
• Interact regularly with operations staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Represent the resort professionally at trade shows, networking events, and through written and verbal communication.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of resort sales experience in an upper upscale resort brand.
• Previous experience as a Group Sales Manager in a similar size resort of similar quality.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to self-motivate, be a team player, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiating skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications, including property management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of Marriott CI-TY systems and the Western territory is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality sales, particularly in upper upscale resorts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems.
