SAP HANA Database Administrator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SAP HANA databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security.
• Support data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks related to SAP HANA systems.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP HANA systems to maintain optimal operation.
• Administer SAP HANA systems using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Manage users and roles within SAP HANA environments.
• Implement SAP HANA table management techniques, including data compression, partitioning, and memory management.
• Ensure high availability and perform backup mechanisms for SAP HANA systems.
• Analyze and define business processes requiring IT solutions and document them.
• Support SAP HANA security mechanisms and XS Application services.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP HANA Database administrator.
• Strong SQL skills to query SAP HANA databases.
• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP HANA systems.
• Experience with SAP HANA system administration tools such as SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Experience managing users and roles in SAP HANA systems.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA table management, data compression, partitioning, and data provisioning.
• Experience with high availability and backup mechanisms in SAP HANA.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, administration, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with data sourcing, analysis, and integration within the last 7 years.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Tableau applications, dashboards, and data models within the last 5 years.
• Experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx is preferred.
• Business Intelligence experience with data sourcing, integration, and quality projects within the last 5 years.
• Experience analyzing and defining business processes for IT solutions.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Secret security clearance.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
