About the Role

SAIC seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Scrum Master to support the Ground Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) contract. This role involves facilitating Agile processes and supporting operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness missions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Scrum Master will communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive continuous improvement within the program.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a facilitator of ART level events and processes including Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, Backlog management, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Product Owner Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt Workshops.
Serve as an Agile coach working with mission owners, stakeholders (including customers), Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Kanban leads, and Team members to ensure the processes and practices of the program align with Agile/DevSecOps principles.
Establish and track key ART level metrics and regularly communicate these metrics to program/technical leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Improve the flow of value through Value Streams by enhancing practices related to DevSecOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Facilitate Regular System Demos that demonstrate Acceptance Criteria has been met and serve as a vehicle for selling off Features to Stakeholders.
Assess the Agility level of the ART and drive relentless improvement including refresher training and skills path guidance.
Foster Communities of Practice (CoP) and promote the use of Engineering and Built-In Quality practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Experience as a Scrum Master on moderate to large size ART (100-150 people).
Demonstrated Program/Project Management and/or leadership skills.
Experience driving continuous improvement and implementing common processes across diverse stakeholder groups.

Nice to Have

Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI.
Possess industry recognized Agile, and/or Scrum certification (PMI, Scaled Agile, Scrum.org, Scrum Inc., or Scrum Alliance).
Experience working within the DoD on larger programs implementing SAFe across one or multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
