About the Role
As a Scrum Master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's managing and securing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced Scrum Master like you to create solutions that'll develop and manage a Cloud Enterprise DoD capability. On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure Scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Sprint planning and other Scrum efforts. In this role, you'll directly impact the Cloud Enterprise DoD capability by managing the Agile team. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT Scrum project management while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve the Cloud Enterprise DoD capability. Work with us as we strengthen operational excellence for the DoD.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach a development team to their highest performance level and ensure Scrum principles are understood by the team and stakeholders.
- Use tools like Jira to strengthen sustainable process improvements and support Sprint planning and other Scrum efforts.
- Manage the Agile team to directly impact the Cloud Enterprise DoD capability.
- Lead regular Agile sessions such as team Scrums, Sprint planning, and user demonstrations to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation.
- Support the team in eliminating blockers, promoting Agile quality practices, and building a high-performing team.
- Guide teams in Agile methodology, support team rules, facilitate progress toward team goals, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or requirements analyst role, or as a Scrum master in an Agile environment.
- Experience with requirements management tools, including Jira or TFS.
- Knowledge of Kanban.
- Ability to communicate and present technical language to senior leaders and clients.
- Ability to execute Scrum methodologies for a product life cycle.
- Ability to support team rules, facilitate meetings, eliminate blockers, promote Agile practices, and support continuous improvement.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience with using requirements management tools, including Jira or TFS.
- Knowledge of Kanban.
- Ability to advise on incremental changes for continuous improvement.
