About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Scrum Master. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Demos, and Retrospectives.
Resolving impediments and engaging others if external blockers are encountered.
Leading validation activities for all types of testing and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
Working with stakeholders on Release Planning, Product Roadmap, and prioritization.
Mentoring team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience as Scrum Master facilitating ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Demos, Retrospective).
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Proficiency in JIRA Agile Story Management tool.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a global delivery environment and communicate effectively with internal and external business partners.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.

Nice to Have

At least 6 years of overall experience in the Information Technology space.
Experience in enabling and challenging team members regarding self-organization and commitments.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Program Increment planning.
Mentoring others on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
Experience with story writing and multiple prioritization techniques.
Experience working with stakeholders on Release Planning and Product Roadmap.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist.
Experience in .NET, Core Java, Spring Boot, and Web Services.

Qualifications

Will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
