  • Manage project finances, budgets (over €1 million), and ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies.
  • Lead and manage the project team, fostering an inclusive and participatory work environment.
  • Ensure quality programming, monitor results, and report on project progress to donors and internal stakeholders.
  • Promote safeguarding children and young people, gender equality, and inclusion in all project activities, ensuring policies are embedded in day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • MA/MSC or BA/BSc Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Gender Studies, Project Management, or related Social Sciences fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of substantial experience, including at least 3 years in project management within development and humanitarian settings under INGO environments.
  • Experience managing complex, large-scale donor-funded projects (over €1 million).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Child Protection (CP), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Sexual and Reproductive Health projects.
  • Expertise in Gender-Based Violence, Women's Rights, and Human Rights.
  • At least 3 years of experience building capacity of local CSOs, Women-Led Organizations, government stakeholders, and working with traditional and religious leaders.
  • Good knowledge of development and humanitarian principles, international child protection, CP/GBV, SRHR policies, and NGO Code of Conduct.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Ethiopia or similar contexts.
  • Knowledge of local languages spoken in the Somali region.
  • Previous experience working with climate change-related vulnerabilities and disaster-affected populations.

Qualifications
