About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Business & Healthcare Intelligence is a key member of the Marketing Strategy & Insights team in Corporate Marketing at Boston Scientific. This role involves developing and delivering insights-based marketing strategies by leveraging healthcare and business intelligence data across various Business Units and enterprise partners. The position supports marketing decisions through data analysis, market modeling, ROI assessment, and competitive intelligence, contributing to the company's mission to advance science for life and improve patient outcomes. The role follows a hybrid work model and reports to the Group Manager of Marketing Strategy & Insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in healthcare intelligence data sources such as patient volume, procedure volume, claims data, competitor intelligence, and pricing, evaluating data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusions to inform marketing decisions.
  • Contribute to the future state of business and healthcare intelligence by improving data ingestion, evaluating new data sources, and enhancing accessibility and scalability for analytics initiatives, including evaluating AI-driven tools for competitor intelligence, market trends, and pricing strategy.
  • Design and implement a repeatable market modeling framework to assess opportunities for indication or audience expansion and perform ROI analysis to inform marketing investment decisions.
  • Pull data, synthesize findings, and tailor presentations to different audiences, transforming analysis and insights into compelling storylines to influence decisions.
  • Define and execute on corporate support for competitive intelligence, leading a community of professionals for best practice sharing.
  • Co-manage healthcare intelligence vendor relationships with the Global HEMA team, oversee data vendor transitions, onboarding, and training for marketing stakeholders, and manage vendors specializing in competitive intelligence and secondary market research.
  • Partner with Business Units to assess data usage, identify needs, and develop tailored solutions that align with corporate objectives, working closely with IT and Analytics teams to translate technical findings and define requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Strategy, Marketing Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within Snowflake or similar analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with healthcare claims data for marketing decisions and strategic planning.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SFDC.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to listen and assess pain points of BU partners.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, especially in explaining data and strategic implications.
  • Good understanding of data architecture, including data ingestion, storage, and consumption.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on analysis quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects.
