Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Effective collaboration with a remote team using Slack, Teams, email, and online video calls to be actively involved in our work and with our customers.
• Develop and maintain client and internal data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Databricks Dashboards/Genie that provide business users with self-service access to data insights.
• Collect business requirements and translate them into actionable build plans and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, test, and maintain BI dashboard solutions.
• Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists for data understanding, modeling, ETL, and data governance.
• Create technical documentation of processes and configurations.
• Stay informed of trends and new releases from leading BI and data management platforms and pursue continued professional development.

Requirements

• 8+ years in a data analyst, data analytics, or business intelligence role.
• 8+ years experience with enterprise data visualization platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
• 8+ years of SQL experience for data retrieval and modeling.
• Strong skills in data analysis and visualization.
• Ability to lead and complete projects independently once given objectives and direction.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with client success, data engineering, UX, and analytics teams.
• Ability to translate non-technical needs into technical and business requirements.
• Proactive, driven, resourceful, with strong prioritization skills and a desire to work with data.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python for data analysis.
• Experience with PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience in healthcare or marketing data extraction, transformation, and normalization.
• Experience with Github.

Qualifications
