About the Role

The Business Intelligence Engineer III role is a fully remote position based in the United States, focused on analyzing program features, marketing content performance, and customer behavior using advanced data techniques. The role involves designing reports, conducting statistical testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide strategic insights and develop new metrics to support business growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate program features and marketing content performance using customer response, usage, conversion, and retention metrics
  • Conduct statistical testing of A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Design, build, and maintain metrics and reports on program health
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from business leaders to investigate customer behavior and conduct deep dives into unusual patterns
  • Apply data mining, segmentation, and modeling techniques to uncover customer trends
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
  • Present insights and trends to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proactively develop new metrics and studies to quantify customer behavior
  • Combine online and offline customer data to generate powerful insights
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry, seasonality, and global business trends
  • Collaborate with finance teams on business and financial analysis, including forecasting and monitoring key activities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into analytical plans
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Background in statistics, programming, or marketing
  • Graduate degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Background in statistics, programming, or marketing
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (highly desirable)
