The Senior Analytics Specialist role is part of the Managed Services team, working with sophisticated financial software solutions to help clients streamline research and analysis processes, and to act as a bridge between investment and software professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the asset management industry, current market trends, and economic factors to maintain a competitive edge in solution delivery.
  • Execute activities including implementations, managed services, consultancy, and solution optimizations by understanding product functionalities and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with middle and front office clients such as institutional asset managers, wealth managers, and asset owners to address their needs.
  • Analyze and resolve complex business issues related to clients' investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows.
  • Gather and understand client requirements to efficiently address their specific business needs.
  • Support the smooth execution of clients' production processes and workflows.
  • Act as a subject matter expert escalation point for internal teams like Support and Sales.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Consulting, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Strategy.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or related industry discipline.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with knowledge across all asset types.
  • Knowledge of financial products and instruments, including stocks, bonds, derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps, etc.), and structured products.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial formulas.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Technical and application knowledge relevant to financial analytics.
  • Leadership skills and ability to understand and gather client requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Financial background in the Asset Management industry.
  • Interest in capital markets and portfolio management.
  • Experience with Performance Measurement & Attribution or Risk Management.
  • Interest and affinity for working with software, data, and analytics.
  • Python and data science skills.
  • Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in asset management or related areas.
