About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications with expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android NDK.
• Work with Unity, C#, and related tools to integrate and develop features for Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Android services, content providers, and inter-process communication.
• Utilize version control tools such as GIT, Gitlab, or Bitbucket, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Perform lower-level control of emulators or devices using terminal/Linux commands such as bash, zsh, brew, and adb.
• Contribute to resource overlays and car property services if working with Android Automotive.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Full Stack Android & Unity Specialist with experience in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Unity.
• Proficiency with C# and Android NDK.
• Experience with Android services, content providers, and inter-process communication.
• Familiarity with version control and project management tools such as GIT, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Terminal/Linux experience for device/emulator control.
• Hold or be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have

• Experience with C++.
• Knowledge of Android Studio, Figma, Blender, and glTF.
• Shader coding experience in HLSL, GLSL, or CG.
• Familiarity with gradle, CMake, Maven repositories.
