Senior Android Engineer Long Term Project San Jose, CA (Onsite)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Unity.
• Utilize Jetpack components and Android NDK for app development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work with android services, content providers, and inter-process communication mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation and tutorials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Full Stack Android & Unity Specialist.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Unity, and C#.
• Experience with Android NDK and android services.
• Familiarity with GIT/Gitlab/Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/Atlassian Suite.
• Terminal/Linux experience for installing bash/zsh/brew/adb for emulator or device control.
• Experience with android services, content providers, and inter-process communication.
• Work authorization in the U.S. (US Citizen, GC Holders, or authorized to work).

Nice to Have

• C++ programming experience.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Figma and Blender skills.
• Knowledge of glTF, shader coding (HLSL/GLSL/CG).
• Familiarity with gradle, CMake, Maven repositories.
