The Senior Associate, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis role is based in New York, NY, with hybrid work options, and involves working with datasets, developing models, and providing analytical support to assess performance, risk, and valuation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with internal and external datasets and client reference data to develop statistical, financial, and econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other sophisticated concepts.
  • Provides analytical support and prepares drafts of standard and ad hoc reports for the assigned area.
  • Supports assigned area with advanced statistical and quantitative analyses under moderate guidance.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced colleagues and reviews their work for accuracy.
  • Runs models, identifies exceptions, and takes corrective actions as needed.
  • Uses technology tools such as SQL, querying, and macro development to extract data and populate models.
  • Interprets findings and prepares initial drafts of standard reports.
  • Translates complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences.
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, querying, and macro development.
  • Good understanding of processes and products in the assigned area.
  • Ability to interpret findings and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Advanced degree in quantitative analysis.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in quantitative finance and data analysis tools.
