About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market data, category trends, and consumer insights to identify new product opportunities.
• Develop relevant product concepts with cross-brand application, meaningful positioning, and priority claims.
• Lead innovation projects in support of platform innovation strategy, including idea generation, validation, and commercialization plans.
• Translate brand and customer strategy into data-driven plans to grow sales, market share, and brand awareness, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Develop and execute communications strategies, including marketing support calendars and liaising with outside agencies.
• Lead commercialization efforts and build business plans for new product opportunities in collaboration with sales, operations, product development, and finance.
• Manage end-to-end marketing initiatives from brief to launch, working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Create retail and promotional marketing tools such as signage, sampling, coupons, and displays.
• Identify go-to-market strategies, select retail partners, and perform sell-in activities in collaboration with sales.
• Measure and report on marketing performance metrics and recommend future tactics.
• Prepare and present recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders to optimize product performance.
• Motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to exceed performance targets.
• Provide insights and learnings across innovation initiatives within the broader team.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree and 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Innovation.
• Minimum 3 years of product management experience.
• Strong interest in innovation as a growth driver (Innovation/Renovation experience preferred but not required).
• Experience working in entrepreneurial environments, including start-up experience as a founder or significant contributor is a plus.
• Proven results track record as a high performer.
• Extraordinary leadership skills and strong general management acumen.
• Travel requirement of 10-20%.
• Location in Arlington, Virginia.
