About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and influence with key stakeholders in Sales, Brand, Digital Marketing, Finance, and IT to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and define successful analytics outcomes.
• Lead planning and execution phases, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet business objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain standardized Power BI templates and dashboards to support enterprise reporting needs.
• Ensure consistency in data visualization best practices and scalability of reporting solutions.
• Define standards and procedures for best practices for business intelligence design and development.
• Identify opportunities to automate data cleansing, transformation, and reporting workflows using Power Automate and other tools like Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement and maintain automation pipelines in collaboration with IT and business users.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving data issues in collaboration with IT and third-party vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting system reliability and performance.
• Improve processes related to data flow, quality, and governance to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs.
• Write data unit tests and establish quality assurance protocols for key transformations.
• Manage and provide guidance and leadership related to analytics to a community of business users and analysts.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on datasets, Power BI tools, and reporting best practices.
• Create user guides, documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials to promote self-service analytics and adoption.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure data systems and reporting solutions align with operational needs.
• Provide strategic advice on technology enhancements supporting business objectives and user experience.
• Define technical requirements and user stories with a comprehensive understanding of business operations.
• Drive innovation by recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables meet business priorities and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage and update the enterprise data catalog to enhance accessibility and usability of key data assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical systems analysis, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
• Proven experience independently managing complex projects across data systems.
• Expert-level proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M language), and deployment of standardized templates and dashboards.
• Experience automating processes using Power Automate (or similar Microsoft-based automation tools).
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data analysis tools such as Excel and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Strong ability to train and coach business users and junior analysts on data systems, datasets, and reporting tools.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships to drive adoption of analytics and reporting best practices.
• Knowledge of data analysis/tools and data modeling techniques with the ability to proactively identify and share trends from the data. Experience with ETL applications is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
