About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Writing, editing, and producing long-form articles and video scripts specifically about investments and retirement.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Ensuring all content is accurate, authoritative, and helpful to the target audience as the primary expert on investments and retirement.
• Content Strategy & SEO: Planning content topics and optimizing content for online platforms to ensure discoverability and search engine performance.
• Audience Education: Translating financial expertise into clear and engaging content to educate the audience on complex financial topics.
• Collaboration/Leadership: Collaborating with teams such as marketing, video production, and legal/compliance to bring the content to fruition.
• Working up to 3 hours of overtime per week.

Requirements

• Certified Financial Planner with 5 years of experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in investments.
• Experience with retirement planning.
• Knowledge of content strategy and SEO best practices.
• Experience with search engine optimization (at least 1 year).
• Experience in financial planning and content creation.
• Experience level: Manager.

Nice to Have

• Additional certifications or expertise in financial services.
• Experience leading content teams or projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
