About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports.
• Write, understand, and debug complex SQL statements.
• Understand and analyze data using SQL and identify data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
• Design and develop practical solutions for complex reporting needs.
• Develop and own data models, applying data modeling techniques and standard practices.
• Implement BI self-service and automated reporting solutions.
• Perform requirements gathering and thoroughly analyze platform requirements.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of business requirements and existing reporting solutions to maintain a reusable and shareable BI platform.
• Develop and maintain various reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Tableau and other reporting tools.
• Serve as an instrumental member of the engineering team to grow a data-driven culture.
• Consult with business partners to provide analysis and insights from data exploration.

Requirements

• Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics or related field.
• Experience, knowledge, or coursework in writing and debugging complex SQL statements.
• Experience with data modeling tools including DBT.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using visualization tools including Tableau.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather actionable insights for strategic decision making.
• Experience using GitLab for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and automation.
• Knowledge of change management and ticketing systems including Jira or ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
