You'll scale data infrastructure, boost analytics, and use your expertise in data products and Finance operations to solve complex business challenges. This role is based in San Jose, CA, and reports to the Head of Product Management, Data & Analytics within the Digital Transformation Office. You'll join a cross-functional Finance team that manages Zoom's financial operations and business performance, focusing on digital innovation and using data to enable smarter decisions and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance leaders to identify areas where data can help uncover opportunities, drive efficiencies, and enable more real-time decision making.
  • Deliver data products and capabilities that address these needs.
  • Become a trusted analytic and strategic thought leader within the Finance organization.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on, data-as-a-product mindset and develop strategy around effectively using multiple levers in our technology stack (including emerging AI capabilities) to solve business challenges.
  • Implement best practices in data quality, governance, and compliance reporting for financial data.
  • Lead high-performing technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data and analytics solutions that drive value for Zoom's Finance organization.
  • Manage large, cross-functional analytics projects with diverse stakeholders and lead prioritization discussions with senior leaders.
  • Focus on big-picture strategies that drive long-term growth while translating those strategies into short-term execution plans and roadmaps.
  • Overcome roadblocks and provide regular project status updates.
  • Train and upskill business users on new solutions and enable self-service analytics for non-technical users within the Finance organization.
  • Identify scalable, automatable Finance processes and develop solutions with solid data quality checks to boost operational efficiency as Zoom grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in Data Engineering, BI, and Data Science, ideally with an MBA or Master's in Data Science.
  • Experience in SaaS financial analytics, familiar with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Python, and BI platforms.
  • Interest in LLM and AI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Fivetran, DBT, SQL, Python, R, and visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Extensive understanding of Finance functions, core processes, and their interaction with adjacent teams, especially in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Experience with financial and sales metrics relevant to subscription-based business models.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate effectively with developers to build scalable data solutions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills across Sales, Finance, and Data teams.
  • Experience in enterprise Data Governance and managing large datasets related to customer usage, billing, and financial forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling best practices and building scalable data architectures tailored for financial analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Interest in applying LLM and AI to analytics challenges.
