Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be at the heart of our mission to transform data into relevant insights that inspire the business's success. You will help decide on the best approach to applying complex datasets to achieve targeted outcomes. You will collaborate with data engineers to ensure that solutions are built on top of valid data and with partners to ensure that solutions deliver actual value. This role is remote in the United States (#LI-Remote) reporting to a Senior Manager of Data Science. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract relevant insights.
  • Build machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability for modeling purposes. Develop data pipelines and workflows.
  • Plan and complete A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of algorithms and strategies.
  • Work with teams to maximize the growth of internal data products.
  • Present insights to all partners, providing guidance on data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, AI, and machine learning, and apply new techniques to enhance products and services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data science roles, with experience delivering impactful solutions.
  • Ability to work on complex, unstructured problems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with experience in data manipulation libraries and frameworks.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Experience translating complex findings to non-technical partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data warehousing technologies such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
