As a member of Data Science Acceleration, you will work on projects that amplify the impact of data scientists, working on tooling across modern data science languages like R and Python to build tools that unlock patient data and streamline meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Work on software products to revolutionize the way our Data Scientists generate actionable and novel insights
Contribute to open source R packages and Python libraries that form part of our data science stack
Support the strategic, technical, and business direction of our Data Sciences software products
Review opportunities to simplify, innovate, and collaborate with experts within and outside of the Data Sciences organization to create efficiencies in clinical trial data collection, data storage, data processing, and data analysis

Requirements

Advanced programming capability in Python
Familiarity with modern version control tools and software development tools like CICD
Knowledge of open-source principles
Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, data science, or relevant technical field
2 or more years of experience in data science, specifically in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Nice to Have

Knowledge of R, Rshiny, JavaScript, containerization, AWS services like S3, and SQL/NoSQL databases
Experience establishing successful internal partnerships and collaborations
Influential and confident communicator
Experience utilizing models and modern ways of working consistent with an agile growth mindset and methodologies
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to work across multiple cultures and countries
Willingness to travel as required

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, data science, or relevant technical field
2 or more years experience in data science in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Expected salary range of $153,900 - $285,900 based on location and experience
Discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance
