About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing telemetry data from our games using Python and R, transforming the raw telemetry into meaningful scoring opportunities.
• Supporting our scoring by generating analytical reports explaining those scores.
• Collaborating with a team of game designers, engineers, product specialists, cognitive scientists, and psychometricians to accomplish data analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and R: Strong experience in developing and debugging Python and R scripts.
• Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.
• Undergraduate degree; advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Predictive Modeling: Ability to develop, validate, and implement predictive models to forecast future trends.
• Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL for effective data management and analysis.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Effective Remote Working: Proven track record of delivering outcomes in remote and distributed teams.
