About the Role

The Senior Digital Product Manager - Payment is responsible for developing and scaling the payments ecosystem across 7-Eleven's digital channels. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact payment initiatives, analyzing existing systems, creating roadmaps, and ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of features. This position supports the company's mission to redefine convenience and modernize the brand by enhancing digital payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale the payments ecosystem across 7-Eleven digital channels.
  • Partner with digital channels and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact payment initiatives.
  • Analyze existing systems, develop product roadmaps, launch initiatives, and monitor their impact.
  • Collaborate with software teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Payment Processors to execute features and monitor the health of the payment ecosystem.
  • Review and analyze product metrics to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Make suggestions to improve the digital payments ecosystem.
  • Partner with senior management to create and execute the product roadmap.
  • Work with software engineers to ensure correct and timely product launches.
  • Produce and review product requirements documents, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications for new features and changes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of eCommerce product management experience focused on digital payments initiatives.
  • End-to-end understanding of the payments ecosystem, including fraud and disputes.
  • Experience with Stripe, Braintree, or Adyen is a significant plus.
  • Experience leading digital payments initiatives in a retail environment and optimizing transaction costs.
  • Working knowledge of digital payments, payouts, marketplaces, subscriptions, and money movement.
  • Extensive experience operating in an agile environment and partnering with scrum teams.
  • Experience working with both customer-facing and back-end applications.
  • Ability to work with significant autonomy and minimal oversight.
  • Proven experience conceptualizing and executing initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams and engineering.
  • Experience building and prioritizing roadmaps considering trade-offs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • A proactive, trust-building, and motivating team player.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Stripe, Braintree, or Adyen payment platforms.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
