Senior Director, Forecasting and Predictive Analytics

• Lead and manage the development of predictive insights to support brand performance across Azurity's pharmaceutical product portfolio.
• Utilize advanced AI-ML technologies to design and refine forecasts & predictive analytics models, providing insights into market trends, product demand, and strategic opportunities.
• Oversee the integration and enhancement of forecasting & predictive insights tools within the Snowflake platform, enabling dynamic and scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop pharmaceutical-specific predictive models that incorporate sales data, prescription trends, and external market dynamics.
• Regularly update and refine assumptions in AI-ML models to reflect evolving market conditions and incorporate real-time data inputs into the predictive model.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Strategic Finance, and EPMO) to integrate business objectives into predictive insights frameworks.
• Partner with supply chain teams to align predictive insights with inventory and distribution planning, ensuring adequate product availability.
• Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing, competitive actions, and regulatory changes on product forecasts to support finance and brand executive leaders.
• Present forecasts and predictive analytics findings and actionable recommendations to senior brand executive leadership and cross-functional support teams.
• Establish and manage robust data pipelines in Snowflake to support seamless integration and analysis of large, complex datasets.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasts & predictive insights methodologies by leveraging the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of analysts, fostering innovation and alignment with organizational goals.
• Maintain a deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including competitive intelligence, regulatory considerations, and product lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, finance, Business, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in predictive analytics, pharmaceutical forecasting, insights generation, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in AI-ML tools and platforms (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow) and experience deploying predictive models in production environments.
• Expertise in Snowflake for data integration, management, and analytics.
• Strong knowledge and experience with data visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot or Power BI.
• Proven ability to leverage predictive insights to optimize business processes and drive strategic growth.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including competitive intelligence, product launches, forecasting, and market access challenges.
• Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
