About the Role

The Senior Director, Product-Led Growth (PLG) Marketing will guide strategy to enhance user acquisition, activation, and revenue for the cloud product, collaborating across teams to design seamless user journeys and convert technical practitioners into paying customers through effective engagement strategies and PLG motions for B2B technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing the overall cloud PLG marketing strategy and roadmap aligned to product experience and revenue goals.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to embed PLG as a key growth engine across the cloud business.
  • Leading a cross-functional team of growth marketers, analysts, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and developer relations.
  • Designing and launching programs that build awareness, attract users, and support developer engagement.
  • Defining PLG metrics across the funnel, using data to optimize user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • Analyzing and enhancing onboarding and self-service flows through experimentation to reduce friction and drive growth.
  • Developing free-to-paid and land-and-expand strategies based on product usage, in partnership with product and sales.
  • Ensuring alignment across messaging, product experience, customer success, and internal evangelism of PLG best practices.

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in product management, growth, or marketing roles with deep PLG knowledge.
  • Proven success implementing PLG strategies for B2B SaaS products, cloud services, or developer tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS/IaaS business models, and developer/IT buyer personas.
  • Expertise in SaaS growth metrics and pricing models, including CAC, LTV, expansion revenue, freemium, and usage-based strategies.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience in A/B testing and translating insights into growth strategies.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams within an organization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and developer/IT buyer personas.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS growth metrics and pricing models.
  • Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional environment.
