Job Description

About the Role

We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence - important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports. GameChanger is a remote first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today. The position involves helping bring our youth sports mission to life through seamless event execution, fulfillment, and partner support, primarily at tournaments, showcases, and marketing activations across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the logistics, fulfillment, and execution of GameChanger's in-person events and brand activations

  • Partner with teams like Marketing, Brand, Business Development, and Creative to execute co-branded events with high-profile partners
  • Maintain clear and updated event documentation, checklists, and planning processes to ensure repeatable, high-quality execution
  • Manage vendors and agencies by setting clear expectations, tracking deliverables, and ensuring high standards are met
  • Track and report on timelines, budgets, and key performance metrics using tools like Looker, Salesforce, or Airtable
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and bring operational ideas to planning, preparation, and activation across multiple sports and customer types
  • Support travel and on-site logistics, including occasional weekend event work, to ensure smooth execution in the field
  • Evaluate and prioritize activation opportunities based on impact, ROI, and alignment with brand goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in experiential marketing, field marketing, or event operations, with a track record of planning and executing brand activations from start to finish
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, logistics, and cross-functional coordination
  • Proficient in tools like Looker, Hubspot, or similar platforms to manage workflows, track performance, and report on event KPIs
  • Operational mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, streamline execution, and keep event logistics running smoothly
  • Experience managing vendor and agency relationships across multiple events, ensuring clear expectations and high-quality execution
  • Ability to bring creative ideas to life through engaging activations and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with experience representing a brand externally and working with teams like Marketing, Brand, Business Development, and Creative

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in youth sports or related community-building environments
  • Familiarity with event management tools and platforms beyond those listed
  • Experience working remotely and managing multiple projects simultaneously
