About the Role

The Marlin Group is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help execute cohesive branding and marketing campaigns across all activities and touchpoints. The role involves managing digital campaigns, supporting event marketing initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure successful campaign execution. The Marlin Group is a leading big-game fishing network and a division of Bonnier LLC, with a rich history in international tournaments and fishing-related media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the day-to-day liaison between advertising clients and internal departments (sales, events, design, digital).
  • Process incoming digital sales contracts and manage campaign timelines and deliverables in CRM systems.
  • Collect, organize, and traffic campaign assets for digital, social, and event marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely campaign launches, actively managing schedules and inventory.
  • Develop and implement engaging social media strategies and calendars to promote events and sponsor participation.
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite; deliver mid- and post-campaign reports.
  • Maintain a clean and organized asset library for digital and sponsorship materials.
  • Support on-site event marketing and coordination during international tournaments, assist with branding, content capture, and sponsor deliverables.
  • Collaborate on creative materials including banners, shirts, decks, and web graphics to elevate campaign and event experiences.
  • Respond to social media engagement and community feedback in a timely, brand-aligned manner.

Requirements

  • Must reside in CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NY, NC, OH or WI.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital campaign management, marketing coordination, or social media strategy.
  • Working knowledge of social and digital advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Ad Manager, and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience in event marketing and willingness to travel internationally a few times a year.
  • Familiarity or passion for boating and sportfishing is a strong plus.
