Senior Financial Analyst - Menu Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provides financial planning and analysis to support the Marketing department.
• Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets, including sales trends and profitability metrics.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as menu mix, promotional analysis and traffic trends.
• Collaborate with key business partners in marketing, menu strategy and operations.
• Conduct weekly/monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance to budgets/forecasts, providing actionable insights.
• Evaluate promotional tactics to drive optimal strategies on types of promotions, spend on promotions and channels to utilize promotions.
• Support leadership with custom financial analyses, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
• Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field and 3-5 years accounting or finance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly create financial models.
• Experience with BI Tools, preferably Tableau.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, including C-suite.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Curious mind that leads to wanting to understand the Why behind financial results.
• Desire to automate routine work and focus on providing analysis and insights.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Restaurant industry experience preferred.
