About the Role

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Information Engineer to join our team in the National Capital Region (NCR). This is a hybrid position. As a Senior Information Engineer, this individual will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data solutions for the government client's desktop services. Their expertise will ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of critical information, directly supporting federal agency operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of information systems and data architectures for government desktop services.
Analyze complex information requirements and propose effective data management solutions.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate information systems and enhance data accessibility.
Provide expert guidance on information engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects.
Apply activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.

Requirements

BA/BS degree.
7+ years of experience.
Extensive experience in information architecture, database design, and data governance within a government setting.
Strong understanding of data security principles and compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead information engineering projects and mentor team members.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional - CDMP).
Must possess active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a DHS Suitability.

Nice to Have

Proficiency with various data modeling tools and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
ITIL Foundation certification.

BA/BS degree.
